Obituary

John F. "Jack" Walsh died Friday May 9th in his Brockton home after a period of failing health. He was the beloved husband of Betty (Bates) Wash.

Born and raised in Charleston he was the son of the late John and Marion (Vinal) Walsh.

He was a resident of Brockton for 33 years and was employed by Walsh Movers for over 20 years.

He was a member of the Puritan Lodge and an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his children Frank Ford of Boston, Joseph Donna, Madeline Walsh and Jacklyn Walsh all of Brockton and Rebecca Ellis of Florida. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.

His services will be held Sunday May 11th at 7 PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth Street (Rt. 58 at the rotary) Whitman. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service from 4-7 PM.
