Judy (Schauffler) Chasen, 66, of Pembroke, passed away surrounded by her family on Monday October 6th. She was the beloved wife of Steven M. Chasen; together for 38 years.

Judy was born in Boston, daughter of the late C. Jarvis and Louise (English) Schauffler. She was brought up in Abington and a graduate of Abington High School, Class of 1966. Judy attended the United Church of Christ in Abington. She also had strong lifetime ties to Nantucket.

Judy was a beautiful woman inside and out. Throughout her life she maintained a genuine and simple demeanor that won the trust and hearts of many. She also possessed a contagious smile and entertaining sense of humor. Judy's life's work was helping family and friends, as well as strangers. She enjoyed being a devoted wife, mother and Nana. She loved spending time near the ocean. She was an avid scrabble player and loved playing cards with her grandkids.

In addition to her husband Steve, she is survived by her children Shawn Driscoll and his wife Amy of Worcester, Brendon Driscoll and his wife Jolena of Rockland, Tobi Goldie and her husband Paul of Pembroke, Jeffrey Chasen of Quincy, her sister Wendy Lindvall of Whitman, her adored grandchildren; Noah, Liam, Jodon, Riley, Sidney, and Gavin and her companion dog Jasper. She was also a friend of Bill's for 36 years. She is survived by an abundance of other family and friends.

Her celebration of life will be held on Saturday October 11, at 12:00 PM, in the United Church of Christ, 10 Bedford St. Abington. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be held in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St. (Rte. 58 @ the rotary circle) Whitman on Friday October 10 from 4:00-8:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to High Point of Brockton, 20 Meadowbrook Rd., Brockton, MA 02301 or to the St Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105.
