Obituary

Karen A. Shields 64, of Rockland, formerly of Whitman, passed away on July 16. She was the daughter of Margaret (Deehan) Shields and the late John G. Shields, sister of William Shields of Sterling and Ellen Gormley of Canton; also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins, and her nieces and nephews Ryan and Julie Gormley, and Sarah, Alana and Daniel Shields.

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend her funeral mass on Monday July 23rd at 11:00 AM in the Holy Ghost Church, Whitman. Burial will follow in the St. James Cemetery, Whitman. Visitation will be one hour prior to the mass from 9:30 -10:30 AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rt. 58 at the rotary) Whitman, MA.
