Obituary

Kathleen R. (Caron) Blume, 74, of Weymouth, formerly of Whitman, died unexpectedly; at her home .She was the wife of the late Harvey Blume. Kathleen was born and raised in Quincy, daughter of the late Edward and Kathryn (Sheehan) Caron.
She was a graduate of Norwell High School. Kathleen was a resident of Whitman for 30 years before moving to Weymouth 7 years ago. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Whitman VFW #697 and the American Legion #22.
She is survived by her 2 sons Mark Blume of Whitman, Jeffrey Blume and his wife Paula of Brockton, her daughter Sheleen Austin and her husband Donald of Rockland, 2 sisters Maureen Caron, Joyce Paul and her husband Martin, both of Easton; grandmother of 9 and great grandmother of 1; serveral nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Fred Caron.
Her services will be held on Thursday July 16th at 10:30AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth Street (Rt. 58 at the rotary) Whitman. Internment will follow in the MA V. A. National Cemetery in Bourne at 1:00PM. Visitation will be on Wednesday July 15th from 4:00-8:00PM.Donations may be made in her name to the American Legion #22, P.O. Box 24, Whitman, MA. 02382.
