Obituary

Kathryn I. (Hartinder) Lawson 89, of Abington died Saturday April 5th, in the Life Care Center of West Bridgewater after a period of failing health. She was the former wife of the late William Lawson. Born and brought up in Pennsylvania, she attended Pennsylvania schools. Kathryn was a nurse and veteran of the US Army during World War II having served from 1943-1945. She was a resident of Abington for many years. She worked as a nurse at the VA Hospital in Brockton and a visiting nurse in Scituate. Kathryn was a very active member of the United Church of Christ in Abington, also a member of the Mother's Club and Garden Club.
She is survived by her sons Robert Lawson NC, and William Lawson of Martha's Vineyard, her daughters Mary Ann Zabchuck of Brockton and Sandra Lawson of Leominster, her sister Ethel Fink of PA., also 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Her services will be held at a later date in the United Church of Christ.
