Obituary

Kevin F. Donohue 63, died Monday September 25th, in the Massachusetts General Hospital after a brief illness. He was the husband Gail (Norton) Donohue of Whitman.

Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Dennis and Catherine (Clougher) Donohue.


A resident of Whitman for 36 years, he worked as a mill wright and was a member of the Millwright Local 1121, also a maintenance supervisor for Boston Edison.

Kevin enjoyed fishing, cooking and playing cribbage.


He is survived by his wife Gail (Norton) Donohue; his children, Kevin Donohue of Halifax, Gail Anderson of Rockland ;his brother Dennis Donohue of Dedham and his sisters Nancy Cahill of Brockton and Eileen Buckley of Cohasset ;seven grandchildren ,many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Saturday September 30th at 9:15 A.M. from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Route 58 at the Rotary Circle) Whitman, followed by a 10:00 A.M. Mass at the Holy Ghost Church Whitman, Ma. Burial will follow in the Colebrook Cemetery Whitman, MA. Visiting hours Friday September 29th 3-8 P.M.
