Obituary

Laforest H. Wilbur, 89, died Tuesday September 19th at the Jordan Hospital, after a period of failing health. He was the husband of the late Marjorie (Lovell) and Arlene (Torrey) Wilbur ,he was also the companion of Ruth Kitchell of Halifax.

Born in Brockton, he was the son of the late Harvey and Florence (Williis) Wilbur. He grew up in West Bridgewater and attended West Bridgewater Schools.

He was a resident of Whitman for 40 years, before moving to Halifax 18 years ago .Laforest was a self-employed bakery delivery man, later worked for R.A. Leslie Inc.in Hanson

He was an active member and a deacon a of the Halifax Congregational Church.

Loved animals and camping.

He is survived by his children, Ernest Wilbur of Plymouth and Sandra Cary of Whitman; his sister Shirley Days of Bridgewater and Ada Clark of West Bridgewater, his companion Ruth Kitchell of Halifax ,seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held Saturday September 23rd at 10:00A.M.in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St. Whitman, MA.. Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater, MA.
