Obituary

Leonarda E. (Yankowski) O'Connell, 85 died Monday March 17 after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late William O'Connell.

Born in Brockton she was the daughter of the late William and Tafila (Urbanowicz) Yankowski.

Leonarda spent most of her life in Whitman and attended Whitman schools. She did however spend several years in Billerica.

She loved bingo and square dancing.

She is survived by her son Richard O'Connell of Plymouth, her brother Chester Yankowski of West Bridgewater, 2 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and several nieces.

A graveside service will be held Monday March 31st at 10 AM in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Washington Street, Whitman. Donations may be made in her name to the charity of one's choice.
