Linda M. Kailher, 87, of Whitman, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 1st, 2026 surrounded by family and loved ones.

Linda was born on August 1st, 1938, in Quincy. She was the beloved daughter of Anna Mae & Woodrow McKinnon. She got married to the love of her life Frankie on June 7th, 1959 in Hanson. They spent 63 loving years together and raised their family in Whitman.

Linda worked at the family dental business, and worked as a contract manager for the First Student Bus Company, and a bus driver for several years for the town of Whitman. She loved working in her garden, planting flowers, traveling, bike rides, fishing and spending time with her dogs. She was passionate about going camping in New Hampshire, and went to Scusset beach every summer.

She was the loving Mother of Dawn Mosseso and her husband Jim of Lakeville, and Brian Kailher and his partner Karan Lydon of Whitman. She had seven wonderful grandchildren, Nicole Kailher and her partner Lem Marasigan, Courtney Kailher and her partner Joshua Donohoe, Justin Slattery and his partner Casey Doucette, Brandon Slattery, Holly Kailher, and Danielle Kailher (deceased). She cherished her great granddaughter Ellie Marasigan.

She is survived by her sister Dianna McKinnon, and pre deceased by her brothers Woodrow Jr and Malcolm McKinnon.

Family and friends are invited to attend her visiting hours on Thursday March 5th from 4-7 PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman, followed by a funeral service at 7:00 PM.
