Obituary

Lorraine R. (Moore) Parker, 98, a lifelong resident of Whitman passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2025.

Lorraine was born in Brockton on January 8, 1927. The daughter to the late Reginald and Verna (Graves) Moore. She attended Whitman Schools and continued her education at Brockton Business College. Lorraine went on to work 12 years at the Regal Shoe Factory in Whitman. During WWII she was a welder at the Hingham Ship Yard for Raytheon in West Quincy. Later, she worked for GTE Sylvania in Needham. Lorraine finished her career after 23 years working at the Foxboro, Co. in East Bridgewater, she retired in 1989.

Lorraine enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed trips to the Cape, Bermuda, Florida, and California.

Lorraine is survived by her daughters; Joyce and her husband Richard Brine Jr. of Kingston and Virginia Casoli of Hanson. She was the grandmother to David Casoli of Whitman, Lisa Casoli of Middleboro, Marc Casoli of Carver, Scot Brine of Kingston, Jeremy Casoli of Hanson, Andrew Casoli of Plymouth, and Matthew Casoli of Carver. Lorraine was the great-grandmother to Antonia Casoli of Carver, Abigail Brine of Kingston, and Austin Casoli of Marshfield. Lorraine is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her siblings; Shirley E. Sabin of Abington, Donald H. Moore of Whitman, Marilyn Emerson of Brockton, and Nancy J. Crawford of Whitman. Lorraine is also predeceased by her son in law, Lewis A. Casoli.

Family and friends are invited to attend Lorraine’s visiting hours on Friday, December 26th from 1:00-2:00 PM with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM at the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman. A burial will immediately follow at Northville Cemetery, East Bridgewater.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Research Hospital or a charity of your choice.
