Obituary

Louis J. Zito , 83, .died Sunday at Braemoor Rehabilitation Center in Brockton , after a period of failing health. He was the husband of Tappse (Bousnakinis)Zito.

Born and brought in Haverhill, son of the late Frank and Anjelina (Courtnello) Zito

Louis was the proprietor of Zito Variety in Haverhill, his family owned business for over 70 yeas, and he also was a supervisor for Western Electric Company now in Andover.

A member of the Sons of Italy in Haverhill.

He was devoted to his wife and family

In addition to his wife, Tappse (Bousnakinis)Zito, he is survived by his daughter Patricia McCarthy of Brockton 2 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held Wednesday May 24th, at 8:15 A.M. from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Route 58 at the Rotary Circle) Whitman, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00 A.M. in the Holy Ghost Church School St, Whitman. Visiting hours Tuesday May 23rd, 4-8 P.M. Burial will follow at St James Cemetery in Whitman, MA.
