Obituary

Lucille D. (Coutsonikas) Pukt 89, died Monday in the Colony House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Abington after a period of failing health. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph J. Pukt, Sr.

Born in Nashua NH and raised in the Boston area, she was the daughter of Michael and Catherine (O'Neil) Coutsonikas.

Lucy was a resident of Abington since 1950.

She worked as a waitress for Red Coach Grill, Sheraton Tara, Toll House and many other local restaurants.

Lucy was an accomplished artist specializing in miniature paintings and sculptures, she also enjoyed attending rummage sales.

She is survived by her daughter, Lucille Phillips of Abington; two brothers Anthony Palmieri, Jr. of VT, Benjamin Palmieri of NY.; 2 sisters Katherine Caldwell of Quincy and Madaline (Mickey) Loomis of Randolph; also many grandchildren, great-grandchildren,and great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was mother of the late Joseph J. Pukt, Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Saturday June 30th at 4:00 P.M. in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street, (Route 58 at the Rotary Circle) Whitman. Visiting hours two hours prior to the service 2-4 P.M.. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer Assoc., 311 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA. 02472.
