Obituary

Lucy Ann Basel (MacNeil) comfortably passed away after a lengthy illness. Her son, Michael Neil Basel and Grand Children, Courtney, Allison, David and Kaylee, survives her. She is the wife of the late Marion (Mel) Basel and daughter of Emily and Alexander. Her relatives include the late Florence, Roderick, Michael, and Donald, and her brother Malcolm MacNeil. As a nurse, she worked for many hospitals in both Boston and New York. She enjoyed her life and never missed an attempt to use her nursing skills when needed. Her Grandchildren were the love of her life. A private service was held Tuesday November 24th at the Blanchard Funeral Chapel in Whitman.
