Obituary

M. Louise Gilmartin, 99, of Halifax, Massachusetts died at home peacefully on June 9.

Born in North Quincy, Massachusetts in 1922 and first child of Emory F. Griffith and Mary (Eichwald) Griffith.

She graduated from North Quincy High School in 1940. Louise spent most of her life working in retail including Remick's, Jouberts, and The Curtain Call until the age of 89.

She enjoyed traveling, gardening, playing bingo, and spending time with her family and friends.

Louise was the wife of late Robert Edward Gilmartin for 35 years. She leaves behind one son, Richard Gilmartin of Halifax, her granddaughter, Jessica Davis of Dartmouth, and two great-grandson's, Hudson and Carson Davis.
