Mafalda F. "Muffy" (Petrino) Perry, 91, of Whitman, passed away on Sunday January 4th in the Good Samaritan Medical Center Brockton after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Manuel Perry.
She was born in Hanson, daughter of the late Jaquadino and Clotilde (Franceschelli) Petrino. She was a lifelong resident of Whitman and a graduate of Whitman High.
Muffy worked as a hostess for the Whitman Toll House for many years and then at Anthony's Pier 4 Restaurant in Boston.
She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and was also an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan.
She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Perry of Plymouth, her son Peter Perry of Whitman, Her grandchildren, Kayla, Karen, Melissa, Amy and M. Joseph Perry, III, her great grandchildren, Brandyn, Jessie, Sara, Danny, Brian, Ben, Stephanie, Cory, Kaegan, Jordon, Jacob and Amelia, Her great - great grandchildren, Kaylee, Dresden and Isabella. She was also the mother of the late Robert "Bucky" Perry, sister of the late, Angelo, Peter, Anthony, Orlando and Eino Petrino, Mary Gambita and Innis Hanson.
Her funeral services will be held on Saturday January 10th at 10:00AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St (Rt 58 at the rotary circle) Whitman. Interment will follow in the St. James Cemetery, Whitman. Visitation will be on Friday January 9th from 4:00-8:00PM
