Obituary

Marilyn Betty MacPherson Montagano, 89, of Hanson passed away on May 4 in her home after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Michael Maurice Montagano.


Betty was born in Brockton on September 2, 1925. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Gladys MacPherson, her sister, Connie Rust, her daughter, Marilyn Gardner, her sons, Mathew and Mario Montagano, her grandson, Eric Montagano and granddaughter, Teahana Joslyn.

She is survived by her seven remaining children, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Bud and Jack MacPherson and her sister, Patricia Orcutt, along with many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral services will be held on Monday May 11th at 1:00PM in the Blanchard funeral Chapel, Plymouth St.(Rt 58 at the rotary circle) Whitman. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11:00AM-1:00PM.
