Obituary

Mark E. Sherman, 64, of Whitman, Massachusetts died on March 29 at home after a long illness.

Born in Brockton, Massachusetts in 1957 he was the only son of the late Harry Sherman and Mary (Cercillo) Sherman.

He is survived by his mother Mary (Cercillo) Sherman, his sister Diana (Sherman) Sullivan, his sons Jeff Sherman and Jared Sherman, and his grandson Harry R. Sherman.

He graduated from Whitman-Hanson High School, and went on to work in the family business of custom cabinetry. He was also a top salesman for Hartz Mountain Pet Supply and serviced most of Cape Cod and the Islands.

He was a loving father to his two boys and helped to take care of his aging parents in their later years.

Always one with a story or joke to tell, he will be missed greatly by all who knew him.

Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Friday April 9 from 5 to 7 pm in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Route 58 at rotary) Whitman, Massachusetts, with a service to follow at 7 pm.
