Obituary

Mary C. (DiMestico) Lynn, 87, of Plymouth, formerly of Whitman, died Thursday October 1st, in the Life Care Center of Plymouth. She was born and raised in Whitman and lived in Plymouth for the past 15 years. Mary was a graduate of Whitman High School, worked at the Fore River Shipyard in Quincy and was a long time employee of the Sally's Dress Shop in Whitman. She was a member of the All Saints Episcopal Church in Whitman for many years. Mary was loved for her easy going nature and her kind and generous spirit.
She was the beloved wife of the late John A. Lynn, loving mother of, Heather Sullivan of Plymouth, Scott Lynn and his wife Colleen of Brant Rock, John Lynn and his wife Kim of Plymouth, sister of Paul DiMestico of Florida, Irene Gangi of Hanover and the late, Vincent, Leo, Natalie and Roy, her cousin Mary Burke: also 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday October 7th at 11:00AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth Street (Rt. 58 at the rotary) Whitman, burial will follow at 1:00PM , in the MA V.A. National Cemetery, Bourne , MA. Visiting hour omitted by request. In lieu of lowers donations may be made in her name to the All Saints Episcopal Church, 44 Park Ave, Whitman, MA 02382.
