Obituary

Mary 'Ellie" (Hanlon) Everidge, 66, died Monday February 5th in the Brockton Hospital, after a period of failing health.

Ellie was born and brought up in Roxbury; she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Mary (Mahon) Hanlon.

She lived in Whitman for 38 years, also Bridgewater, then to Hanson for the past 5 years.

Ellie graduated from Massasoit Community College in Brockton with her Associates Degree and UMASS Boston with her Bachelor's Degree in 1991.

She worked as an office manager for the Federal Government, in the Department of Defense.

She is survived by 2 sons, and a daughter, Jackie Everidge, Jr., Paul Everidge and Nancy Clancy; also 6 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held Friday, February 9th at 9:15 from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rt 58 at Rotary Circle) Whitman, MA. , followed by a funeral mass in the Holy Ghost Church, School Street Whitman at 10:00 AM. Burial will be at a later date. Visiting hours Thursday February 8th 4-8 PM. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Children's Hospital, 300 Longwood Ave., Boston, MA. 02115.
