Obituary

Mary T. Kennedy of Abington passed away peacefully on Wednesday February 26, 2014 at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Remi C. Kennedy.

Born in Dorchester, MA on April 3, 1929 she was the daughter of the late John and Sadie Kuhn, and the sister to the late Joe Kuhn, Arthur Kuhn and Robert Kuhn.

Mary had many friends and enjoyed spending time with her late husband and with her family. Mary was a proud homemaker and mother. Mary spent her later years working as a part time nurse's aide at St. Bridget School in Abington. She cherished spending time with her six grandchildren who she loved so dearly.

Mary is survived by her daughter Marylou Baleyko and her husband Paul of Plymouth, a son John Kennedy of Abington, a daughter Noreen O'Connor and her husband Kevin of Pembroke, a son Remi M. Kennedy and his wife Kelli of Abington, and her six beloved grandchildren John Baleyko of Plymouth, Julie O'Connor of Plymouth, Michael O'Connor of Pembroke, and Colin, Ryan and Camryn Kennedy of Abington. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend her memorial service to be held Saturday March 8 at 12 PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman. Burial will follow in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Abington. Visiting hours will be held prior to her service from 10 AM – 12 PM.
