Obituary

Mary E. (Cosgrove) Ostroski, 77, of East Bridgewater, went home with the Lord on Friday, February 29th. She was the wife of William P. Ostroski of East Bridgewater. Mary was born in Lynn and grew up in Quincy; she was the daughter of the late Felix and Mary (Mahoney) Cosgrove. Mary has been a resident of East Bridgewater for the past 45 years, a communicant of the Holy Ghost Church in Whitman. She loved to sew, crochet and was a foster mother to many children.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Janet McKay and her husband James of Bryantville, her sister Frances Sturgis of Quincy and her granddaughter Jamie Maul of Bridgewater; also several nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Mary Frances Ostroski
Her funeral services will be held Wednesday March 5th at 9:15 AM from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street, (Rt 58 at the rotary circle) Whitman, followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 AM in the Holy Ghost Church, MA. , burial will be in the St. James Cemetery, Whitman, MA. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, March 4th from 5-7 PM.
