Obituary

Mary"Lindy" (Cafarella) Rickson, 61, died Saturday in the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center, Brockton, after a short illness. She was the wife of the late George F. Rickson.

Born in Boston ,grew up in Brighton and was a resident of Hanson for 20 years before, moving to Brockton 5 mouths ago .She was the daughter of the late Lawrence H. and Florence M (Yetman)Cafarella , she was a graduate of St. Columkille in Brighton.

She was employed at Sophies and Stella's restaurants' as a waitress.

She enjoyed arts, crafts and writing her own poetry.

She is survived by her son and daughter Lawrence Rickson of Whitman and Dawn O'Connell of Mansfield, 3 brothers Herb Cafarella of Hull. John Cafarella of Upton, Michael Cafarella of Malden and her sister Carol Zarella of Sagamore ,her stepmother Catherine Caparella; also two grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Her service will be held Wednesday October 18th at 8:00 P.M. in Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street, (Route 58 at the Rotary Circle) Whitman. Burial will be at a later date.
