HANSON

Masako (Yamada) Pina 73, died Tuesday in Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston after a short illness. She was the wife of the late Alfred D. Pina.

Born in Izu, Japan daughter of the late Akira and Ju Yamada.

She resided in Hanson for 48 years.

She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Lake Church in Halifax.

Masako was an avid fan of the Red Sox and Patriots

She is survived by two sons Alfred D. Pina, Jr. of Manomet and Paul Pina of Whitman, a sister Kimilo Imagana of Japan, her sister-in-law and close friend Anna Neilson of Halifax; also 2 granddaughters Nicole Pina of Hanson and Ashley Pina of Texas, also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be on Saturday May 13th at 8:15 A.M. from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street, (Route 58 at the Rotary Circle) Whitman, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00 A.M.in Our Lady of The Lake Church, Halifax.
