Michael Leo Dauwer, 66, of Boston, Massachusetts passed away at Beth Israel Hospital on October 17, 2026. Michael was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts on October 29, 1959, and is the son of the late Arthur W Dauwer and Claire T (Murphy) Dauwer. He grew up in Brockton, Massachusetts and enjoyed many youth sports. Mikey D was a fanatical Boston sports fan. He also enjoyed researching history, especially WWII documentaries and movies.

Michael is survived by his siblings, Susan and John Margie of East Bridgewater, Arthur and Sue Dauwer of Scituate, Paul and Angela Dauwer of Yarmouth, Robert and Michele Dauwer of Whitman, and Kevin and Amy Dauwer of Bridgewater. Michael was predeceased by his brother John Dauwer of Brockton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Michael was a devoted son and will be missed by all.

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation on Friday, October 23rd from 10-12 at the Blanchard Funeral Chapel (RTE 58 at the rotary circle), Whitman. Following the vistitation there will be a service at the funeral home at 12noon. Internment will be at the Northville Cemetery, East Bridgewater.
