Obituary

Michael died Friday September 22nd after brief illness. He was the husband of Julie (Bonaparte) Prior.

Born in Brockton he was the son of Robert W. Prior and the late Shirley (Harris) Prior. He was raised in the Silver Lake area and graduated from Silver Lake High School.

He also lived in Whitman, working at Whitman Plating for more that 20 years, before moving to Plympton for that last 20 years. He last worked for Quality Metal Company.

Michael loved his dogs and was an avid Harley Davidson Rider, but his greatest accomplishment was as foster parent to many children for many years.

He was the father of Joshua Hall and his wife Nancy of Texas and Jennifer Collins and her husband Devin of San Diego, CA; grandfather of Rayna Boyer-Hall; brother of Cynthia Dusenvitch and her husband Dick of Buzzards Bay and Theresa Dingman of Florida. He is also survived by his brother-in-laws David and Richard Bonaparte and his niece Cindy Lee Dean as well as many other nieces, nephews and cousins.

His funeral will be held Wednesday September 27th at 8:30 PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth Street (Route 58 @ the Rotary) Whitman. Visiting hours Wednesday September 27th 3-5 & 7:-8:30 PM.
