Mildred (Bowen) Sullivan, 94, of Yamorth Port, MA, passed away on September 27, 2026 at All American Assisted Living, Hanson.

She was born and raised in Boston, MA, by James and Mildred Bowen. She was the fifth of six children.

She was married to Charles Sullivan, a Boston Police Officer and Veteran, for 59 years before his passing in 2013. They shared a love of life's adventures and family.

Mildred is survived by her daughter Diana Parsons and her husband Carl of East Bridgewater, her granddaughters Alyssa Lynn and her husband Aaron of Medway, April Parsons of Attleboro, and Olivia Parsons of East Bridgewater, her son Charles Sullivan Jr. of Pattaya Thailand, and her brother Paul Bowen of Needham. As well as many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her siblings Rita Brooks, James Bowen, John Bowen, and Helene Costello.

Mildred was greatly loved and will be terribly missed.

Visiting hours will be held at the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman, on Tuesday, October 6th from 4:00-6:00 PM. All are welcome to the funeral chapel on October 7th at 9:45 before proceeding to the Holy Ghost Church, 518 Washington Street, Whitman. A funeral Mass will be held at the Holy Ghost Church on October 7th at 10:30 AM. A burial will take place at a later date at the Masschusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
