Obituary

Miriam Elizabeth (Roberts) Provost, 93, of St. Croix, US Virgin Islands, formerly of Broomall, PA., died Thursday, November 22nd.She married George L, Provost of Brockton in 1943.He preceded her in death in 2000.Mrs Provost taught 4th grade in the Rockland Public Schools and in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and she retired in 1974.She was born in Rockland, a graduate of Rockland High and from Bridgewater State Teacher's College in 1933.
She is survived by three daughters, Mary Jane Provost of St. Croix , Sister Ann Provost of Philadelphia and Elizabeth Provost of Albuquerque: a brother, William F. Roberts of Rockland: three grandchildren, Mia, Benjamin and Daniel Keularts; also many other loving family and friends

Her funeral services will be held Monday December 3rd at 8:15 A.M. from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Inc, Plymouth Street (Rt 58 at the Rotary Circle) Whitman, MA. , followed by a funeral mass at 9:00 A.M., in the St. Bridget's Church in Abington, MA. Burial will follow in the Holy Family Cemetery, Rockland, MA. Visiting hours Sunday December 2nd 2-4 & 6-8 P.M.
