Obituary

Muriel M. (Matott) Hazelton, 92, of Rockland, died March 1st in the South Shore Rehab & Skilled Care Center in Rockland, after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Daniel J. Hazelton, Sr. She was born and brought up in Plattsburgh, New York. Muriel then married Daniel and moved to Quincy then to Rockland where she raised her family. She was a communicant of the Eastern Nazarene church of Brockton that was the church her husband built, many years ago. She enjoyed being with family and loved to watch the Red Sox.
She is survived by her 2 sons, Daniel and David, both of Rockland, her daughter Phyllis Poole of Tennessee, 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.She was also the mother of the late Malcolm Hazelton and Linda Worden.
