Nancy L.
Froio
d. Jul 20, 2026
Nancy L. Froio, of Halifax, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2026, surrounded by her family.
Born on June 3, 1944, in Dorchester, Massachusetts, Nancy was the beloved daughter of Nancy and Charles Patterson. She dedicated her life to her family and community, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
Nancy shared 37 wonderful years of marriage with her husband, Vincent Froio. Together they built a life rooted in family, creating a home filled with love, laughter, and lasting memories.
She was the mother of Carl, Robert, Anthony and his wife, Irma, and April; the proud grandmother of 20 grandchildren; a caring Aunt to many nieces and nephews and the great-grandmother of seven. She is also survived by her younger brothers, Robert and his wife, Gail, and Charles.
Nancy will be remembered for her resilience, generosity, and special love for birds. She found joy in playing bingo, spending time with her dear friends, and supporting the Halifax Estates community. No matter where life took her, she had a gift for making people feel welcome, valued, and cared for.
Her greatest legacy is the family she nurtured, the values she passed down, and the memories she created. Her kindness, wisdom, and quiet strength will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
Nancy was predeceased by her parents, Nancy and Charles Patterson; her husband, Vincent "Vinny" Froio; her Aunt Helen; her niece, Luann; and her sister-in-law, Kathy.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Nancy's life on August 8, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Halifax Estates Community Center, 50 Sycamore Drive, Halifax, MA 02338. In accordance with Nancy's wishes, a private burial will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Nancy's memory to The Helping Hands of America Foundation.
Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that Nancy's love, warmth, and legacy will remain with us always. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
