East Bridgewater

Patricia M. (MacEachron) Brittain died August 10th in the Brockton Hospital after a period of failing health. She was the wife of Robin D. "Red" Brittain.

Born in Brockton daughter of the late Edward I. & Bessie (Bishop) MacEachron she was raised in Whitman and a graduate of Whitman High School.

Patricia attended Boston University where she earned a degree in Practical Art & Lettering.

She moved to East Bridgewater where she lived for more than 50 years, working as the bookkeeper for the family business, Toll Road Truck Equipment.

She enjoyed walking and helping out with her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Kathryn (Brittain) Gianunzio of Whitman, and Margaret (Brittain) Ali of Lombard, IL, her sister Eula Berglund of Roanoke, VA, and six grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Robin D. Brittain, Jr.serveral nieces and nephews

Her funeral service will be held Monday August 14th @ 11am in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel; Plymouth Street (Route 58 at the Rotary Circle) Whitman. Burial will follow in the Central Cemetery, East Bridgewater. Visiting hours will be held Sunday August 13th from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM.
