Pauline Rockett, 75, of Pembroke, formerly of Whitman, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of August 3, 2026.

Pauline was born and raised in Whitman. She dedicated many years of her life to working as a Licensed Practical Nurse and also served as a foster parent. Earlier in her life, she spent time as a nun in a convent in Pennsylvania. She met her future husband, John Rockett, while he was doing electrical work at a family friend's home. Together, they enjoyed over 40 years of marriage before John passed away three years ago.

Pauline and John enjoyed camping in Falmouth, MA, taking road trips to New Hampshire, and visiting lighthouses together. Together they fulfilled a lifelong dream of traveling across the country and back. She also loved baking, playing solitaire, and spending time with her beloved dog, Arlo.

She is survived by her daughter, Christine Johnson, and her husband, Chris, of Whitman; her son, John Rockett, and his wife, Jacqui, of Pembroke; and her beloved grandchildren, Jack and Brooklyn Rockett. Additionally, she is survived by her brother, Ray Bois, and his wife, Donna, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Her husband, John Rockett, along with her mother, father, and sister Louise, all sadly passed away before her, leaving a profound impact on her life.

A funeral Mass will be held for Pauline at 10:30 AM on Friday, August 28th, at the Holy Ghost Church, Whitman.
