Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of Peter Calos announces his passing on May 24th 2018, at the age of 61.

Peter was born April 3rd 1957 in Boston to Eleftherios Calos and Maria Xenos Calos (both deceased), and grew up in Whitman, Massachusetts.

He was a Forklift Driver at Cape Cod Lumber in Abington, and previously worked at Brooks Lumber in Avon.

He leaves behind his wife of nearly 20 years, Beatrix Calos; his sons, Matt Calos (and wife Jackie) and Mark Calos; his daughters, Karen Cornell and Michelle Spadea (and husband Jeff); his sister, Sophia Pierce; his grandchildren, Kaleigh Knights, Brianna Knights, Scotty Cornell, Gabby Paulding, Mia Spadea, Gracie Spadea, and Kaylee Canniff; and one great-granddaughter, Raelyn Knights. He also leaves many loved nieces and nephews, cousins, and countless friends.

His family would like to emphasize how wonderful of a man he was, and the immeasurable difference he made in their lives. Peter was a great man and will be fiercely missed, but his impact and love will be forever in their hearts. "A man is only as good as his word."

Peter was a faithful member of Immanuel Baptist Church (92 Alger St, Brockton), where a memorial service will be held Saturday June 2nd at 2:00pm, with a reception to follow at the
Polish Club (55 Wales St, Abington).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations are made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network and the Hope Health McCarthy Care Center.
