Peter S. Curry, 72, of Brockton, Massachusetts passed away on September 27th, at the West Roxbury VA Hospital surrounded by family. 

Born in Quincy, Massachusetts in 1954, he served in the US Army for multiple tours of duty and eventually was honorably discharged due to injuries sustained. He then worked as metal/marble refinisher at Stuart Dean of New England for 30 plus years, where he made many lifelong friends. One of his best features of his work was refinishing local monuments and statues around Boston. His favorite being the colorizing of the maps at the Paul Revere Brovado in the North End, along with the Paul Revere statue. He was also an avid Boston Bruins fan and memorabilia collector where portions of his collections were on display at the New England Sport Museum at the Boston Garden and many inquiries from the Hockey Hall of Fame. 

He was the husband of Susan (Belcher) Curry for 48 years and leaves behind two sons and one grandson. Oldest son, Robert Curry of Weymouth, Massachusetts, youngest son Sean Curry of Brockton, Massachusetts and grandson Tyler Curry, son of Sean.

Family and friends are invited to attend Peter's visiting hours on Monday, October 5th from 5:00-7:00 PM at the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman.
