Obituary

Phyllis (Benjamin) Fafard 75, died Tuesday January 9th at the Life Care of Raynham, after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Richard Fafard.

Born in Rockland, and grew up in Abington .She was the daughter of Wilfred and Virginia (Carter) Benjamin .She attended Abington schools.

Phyllis was a long time resident of Abington until, moving to Raynham 13 years ago, to be with her family.

She worked at Rockland Webbing Company in Rockland and she was a nurse's aid at the Mildred Alford Nursing Home for 20 years and retied in 1990.

She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed crafts, crocheting, cooking and had a love for animals especially her favorite cat"WOODY"

She is survived by 2 sons and 3 daughters John J. Fafard, of Raynham, Peter l, Fefard of Manchester, NH. ,Mary Burrell, of Taunton, Jane Marden of West Wareham and Linda Trefethen of Hanson; 8 grandchildren ; also one niece and four nephews and her favorite cat "WOODY". She was also the mother of the late Richard Fafard.

Her funeral will be held Saturday January 13th at 8:15 A.M. From the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Route 58 at the Rotary Circle) Whitman, followed by a funeral Mass at 9:00 A.M. in St Bridget's Church Abington, MA. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery, Weymouth, MA. Visiting hours Friday January 12th 4-7.
