Regina M.
Pestilli
June 8, 2026
Regina Marie Pestilli, 74, passed away peacefully on June 8th, 2026, surrounded by family and loved ones. Born in 1951 to Vinicio Pestilli and Colomba DeNubio Pestilli, ‘Reggie’ was a lively spitfire. Reggie graduated from Quincy High School in 1970 and worked many years as a manager of CVS in Wollaston and Weymouth. Regina will be remembered for being a 2023 inductee of the Quincy High School Women’s Athletic Hall of Fame and an alumni member of the Quincy Women’s Softball League.
Regina was an avid lover of all things Christmas; her giving and kind spirit was never more evident than when she shared that holiday with family and friends. Easter and the annual egg hunt were a highlight every year as well. Her passions extended to Coca-Cola memorabilia, Jack, the Bruins and the Patriots; she also enjoyed vacationing in Brownfield, Maine to be near family. Reggie was a proud owner of a Red 1968 Ford Mustang given to her by her father, and it remains in the family today.
The family wants to offer their sincere thanks to everyone who was able to visit, call, and pray for Regina this past week as she transitioned from the hospital to hospice at home with her family. The kind words, bountiful meals, and sharing of stories about their time with Regina brought great comfort to all. We know the abundant love and care shown helped Regina to cross over to join her Mom, Dad, brother Bruce and all of her dearly departed family and friends in Heaven.
Regina is survived by siblings and their partners, Anthony and Doris Pestilli of Mount Jackson in Virginia, Rose Pestilli and Deb Johnson of Mount Jackson in Virginia, Dennis and Lynda Pestilli of Mount Jackson in Virginia, and Vincent and Linda Pestilli of Brownfield in Maine. Reggie is also survived by cherished nieces and nephews Rachel, Mark Pestilli, Deanna Noel Carrier, Paul Pestilli, Vincent Pestilli, Michael Pestilli, Veronica Schubert and Craig Pestilli as well as many grand nieces and nephews. Regina was predeceased by her brother Bruce Pestilli who she cherished dearly and will be laid to rest next to him and his wife Joan.
Family and friends are welcome to attend visiting hours which will be held from 5pm to 7pm, with a celebration of life to follow at 7pm, on June 12th, 2026 at Blanchard’s Funeral Chapel in Whitman, MA at the Route 58 rotary.
