Obituary

Richard R. Bartholdson loving Father, Grandfather and Friend; 75 of Hanover, passed away on Saturday June 15 at Seasons Hospice Care, surrounded by his family. Husband of the late Karen(Langworthy) Bartholdson

He was born in Brockton, September 16th1943 second son of Herbert Bartholdson and Adeline Cushing. He was graduate of Whitman-Hanson High School and had a passion for art, gardening, travel, cars and was a history buff.

Rick was a Veteran of United States Airforce, during the Vietnam War from 1961-1965 and was technical engineer in communications and electronics. He was an active member of the American Legion after his honorable service in the United States Airforce lived in Hanover for the past 20 plus years being a well-known loved face of the town and neighborhood

He is survived by his loving daughter Kimberly Walsh and her husband Richard of Carver, his grandchildren, Richard and Kerry

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Tuesday June 18th from 4:00-7:00PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St (Rte. 58 at the rotary circle) Whitman. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday June 19th at the Hanover Center Cemetery, Hanover at 11:00AM.
