Obituary

Richard J. "Dicky" Coughlin 75 of Whitman died at the Colony House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Abington, after a period of failing health. Dick was a longtime resident of Whitman and worked as a truck drive for several companies throughout the South Shore. He was veteran of the United States Navy serving in the Korean Conflict from 1951-1955.
He is survived by his children, Robert A. Coughlin and his wife Linda of Rockland, William Coughlin of Carver, Lynn Farrier of Illinois, Richard, Michael, Brooks and John Coughlin, and Sharon Bradshaw all of Whitman, his brother Glenn Coughlin of Whitman, his sister Norma Ramsey of Alabama; also many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held in the MA VA. National Cemetery in Bourne at a later date.
