OBITUARY


Brockton

Richard A. Sloane, 47 died Saturday August 26th at the Caritis Good Samaritan Hospital after a period of failing health. He was the husband od Tracy (Bates) Sloane.

Born in Quincy son of the late Gardner and Isabel (Magaldi) Sloane.

He was raised in Braintree and graduated Braintree High School class of 1977.

Mr. Sloane resided in Brockton with his wife and family for the past 18 years.

He was an avid fan of NASCAR racing and had a love for motorcycles and motorcycle riding.

In addition to his wife he is survived by one son Matthew Sloane and two daughters Ashley Sloane and Katlyn Sloan all of Brockton; three brothers John, Joseph and James Sloane; two sisters Kathy Mulrey and Barbara Anshewitz; one grandson Matthew Sloane, Jr. and his mother-in-law Gladys Levangie of Whitman.

His funeral will be held Tuesday August 29th at 11:00 am in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth Street (Route58 @ the rotary) Whitman. Visiting hours Monday August 28th 2-4 & 6-8 PM.
