Obituary

East Bridgewater – Robert Leon Perrault, 86, of East Bridgewater died peacefully in his sleep at Bay Path Rehabilitation Center in Duxbury on June 2, 2013.

He was born in Brockton on January 7, 1927 to the late Leo and Susan (Ford) Perrault, one of twelve children, with nine adoring sisters and two loving brothers.

He left school in 1945 to join the US Army during World War II, but resumed his education upon his discharge, receiving his GED from Brockton High School.

He was predeceased by his bride, and the "love of his life" Dorothy R. (Blatchford) Perrault.

His kind, humorous, and loving spirit will be sadly missed by his family, his two daughters Candace Wood and her husband David of East Bridgewater and Tracey Ciavarra of White Horse Beach; as well as his four grandchildren, Derrick and Debbie Wood of Hopedale, Amanda and Justin Villa of Kingston, Matthew and Heather Wood of East Bridgewater and Kevin Ciavarra of White Horse Beach; and never forgotten by his adored eight great grandchildren, Taylor, Hayden, Emily, Carson, Evan, Jacob, Gavin and Riley. He was well loved by his fifty plus nieces and nephews and his one hundred plus great nieces and nephews.

All are welcome to visiting hours to be held Friday June 7 from 10 AM to 12 PM, followed by a memorial service and celebration of his life at 12 noon, in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman. A private burial will be held at a later date in the Calvary Cemetery, Brockton.
