Obituary

Hanover – Robert English 58 of Hanover died unexpectedly Thursday October 6 in South Shore Hospital.

He was the beloved fiancé of Kimberly Govoni, and the loving son of Mary (Hogg) English of Hanover and the late Robert J. English.

For over 13 years Robert had been a manager for GTR Manufacturing Corp. of Brockton.

He was an avid fan of the Patriots and the Red Sox, and loved his devoted dogs "Bucky' & "Fawn".

In addition to his fiancée Kimberly and his mother Mary he survived by his daughter Chelsey Croghan of East Hampton, NY and his grandchildren Christian and Alexander, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was the former husband of Dianne English and brother of the late John English.

His funeral service will be held Wednesday October 12 at 10 AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth Street (Rt. 58 at the rotary) Whitman. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday October 11 from 4-8 PM.
