Obituary

Braintree - Robert Harold Rivera 64, died unexpectedly Saturday June 25 in his Braintree home. He was formerly of Abington where he had lived with his estranged wife Pamela J. (Coe) Rivera.

Born and raised in Boston he was the son of the late Joseph and Patricia (Jones) Rivera.

Robert had worked for Brush Hill Transportation as a trolley driver for the National Park Services.

He enjoyed wrestling, camping and walking the beach, and was an avid fan of the Rolling Stones.

In addition to his wife Pamela he is survived by his children Amanda L. Rivera, Patricia P. Smith and her husband Jerome and Traci G. Rivera, his grandchildren Tyler Rivera, Alicia Smith, Joseph Benowitz and Andi Benowitz. He is also survived by his close friends Lynn Madden and Lorraine Perotta.
