Obituary

Kingston - Rose M. (Stone) Davidson 95, formerly a longtime resident of Whitman, died Wednesday March 1 after a period of failing health. She was the beloved wife of the late Howard Davidson.

Born in Boston and raised in Dorchester, she was the daughter of the late Harry A. and Caroline (Doyle) Stone.

Rose had been a resident of Whitman for over fifty years where she and her husband Howard had raised their four children, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hanson.

She had enjoyed ceramics, sharing her creations with family and friends.

She is survived by her children James R. Davidson of Kingston, Carol Mullen of Plymouth and Audrey Bailey of Manchester, NH. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Howard L. Davidson

Her funeral service will be held Saturday March 11 at 11:00 AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman. Burial will follow in the Colebrook Cemetery, Whitman. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service from 9:00-11:00 AM.
