Obituary

Russell A. Waterman 74, died Thursday in the Brockton Hospital in Brockton, after a brief illness. He was the husband of Nancy (Perkins) Waterman of Halifax.

He was born in Halifax, son of the late Chester and Amy (Baker) Waterman.

Russell, a lifelong resident of Halifax, he attended Halifax schools.

He worked at the Boston Whaler boat manufacturer in Rockland for 30 years.

Russell enjoyed fishing, camping, canoeing, bowling and bicycling.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children James Waterman of Abington, Susan Waterman of Halifax, his brothers and a sister; Clifford Waterman of Michigan, Robert Waterman and Margaret Cunningham both of Halifax; 3 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Monday August 27th at 11:00AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Route 58 at the Rotary Circle) Whitman, MA. Burial will be in the Central Cemetery, Halifax, MA. Visiting hours Sunday August 26th 2-4 only.
