Obituary

Ruth A. (Bessett) Sayce of Hanson, passed away unexpectedly on January 30, 2021 surrounded by her family. Ruth is joining her predeceased son Thomas G. Sayce and her daughter Christine A. (Sayce) Varley.

Ruth was born September 15, 1931 in Brockton, the oldest daughter of the late Josephine and Gordon Bessett.

Ruth enjoyed reading and knitting, but most of all she enjoyed her family.

She is survived by her husband of sixty-six years, Alan G. Sayce, her daughter Debra Trevains and her husband Kerry of Whitman, as well as her brother Alan Bessett of Hanson.

Ruth was the much-loved grandmother of Alicia Trevains, Todd Varley, Jr and Andrew and Gregory Sayce.

A private graveside service will be held in the Fern Hill Cemetery, Hanson.
