Scott  G. Singleton, 59, of Whitman, Massachusetts passed away on Friday, March 20, 2026.

Scott was born on April 3, 1966 to Bob and Pauline Singleton of East Bridgewater, MA. Always a “MacGyver,” Scott worked as a mechanic for over 30 years in Stoughton at Metropolitan Truck, where he specialized in hydraulics and welding.

He loved the outdoors, including fishing, swimming, gardening, and animals, especially birds. He also loved sports and was an avid Red Sox and Bruins fan. Scott was a friend to everyone, always willing to lend a hand, and was especially devoted to his family.

He is survived by his partner, Kelly Gardner, and children, Olivia, Marissa, and Karissa of East Bridgewater, MA; his sister, Shirley Singleton of Essex, MA; his brother, Bobby Singleton of North Conway, NH; his niece Caroline Singleton and nephews Matthew and Logan Singleton.

Family and friends are invited to attend Scott’s visiting hours on Saturday, March 28th from 11:00 AM -2:00 PM with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM at the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman. A private burial will occur at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to either the Dana Farber Cancer Institute or the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
