Obituary

Shirley M. Trevains of Whitman, Massachusetts died peacefully in her sleep after a long illness on June 2nd.

Born in Quincy, MA in 1928, the daughter of Ralph and Maple Hopkins and sister of Edward Hopkins. Shirley attended Quincy public schools.

Shortly after getting married she moved to Whitman. There she worked as a waitress for several local restaurants. Shirley loved to walk and play golf.

She was the wife of the late George Trevains for 66 years. She leaves behind two children, Kerry Trevains and his wife Debra of Whitman and Lynn Trevains of Whitman and also the late David Trevains. Shirley also had several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

There will be a private family service at a later date.
