Tina M. Stewart, 61 of Freetown, Massachusetts passed away peacefully on August 8, 2026 with her loving family by her side at Tufts Medical Center after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Boston, MA in 1965. Daughter of the late Arthur Stewart (Father), Ellen Roche (Mother) and Peter Roche (Stepfather). Tina was a Whitman-Hanson High School Class of 1983 graduate. Tina made a career working in the food industry.

Tina moved through life with a warmth that drew people to her instantly. She was cherished by all who knew her, leaving behind many wonderful memories and a family who will miss her every single day. She was a collector of anything she thought was cute, especially dolphins/ whale themed items and had vast amounts of M&M memorabilia. Tina loved small dogs and enjoyed watching various tv shows and movies.

Tina was the loving partner to Roger Wegman for 33 years. Sister to William Stewart, Tanya Roche-Amaru and her husband Kenneth all of Whitman, MA. Patricia Roche of Raymond, ME. Also survived by several nephews and nieces.

Family and friends are invited to attend Tina’s visiting hours on Thursday, August 13th from 5:00-7:00 PM at the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman. All are welcome to the Blanchard Funeral Chapel on Friday, August 14th at 9:45 to proceed to the funeral Mass. The funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM at the Holy Ghost Church, Whitman. A burial will immediately follow at St. James Cemetery, Whitman.
