Todd M. Purcell, 28, died unexpectedly, Sunday November 5th. He was the son of Diane (Bolstad) Purcell of Rockland and the late Ronald J. Purcell, Sr.
Todd was born in Brockton, raised in Hanson, where, he remained until he left for California to pursue his degree in Message Therapy. He returned shortly thereafter and settled in Rockland.
He was a former chef and tow truck driver for a local company.
In addition to his mother he survived by his daughter Haley Brown of Rockland, 2 brothers; Michael Purcell of Florida, Ronald J. Purcell, Jr. of Hanover, 3 sisters; Tracy Purcell of Brockton, Robin Purcell of CA. and Diane Logan of Halifax; loving uncle of Christopher Purcell, Heather Davis, Kaleigh and Emily Logan.
His funeral will be held Friday November 10th, at 9:45 A.M. from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Route 58 at the Rotary Circle) Whitman, followed by a funeral Mass at 10:30 A.M. in St. Mary's Church, Hanover St., Hanover, MA. Burial will be at a later date. Visiting hours, Thursday November 9th 5-8pm. To help defray the funeral expenses the family is asking that, in lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be sent to his mother, Diane Purcell, P.O. Box 1342 West Hanover, MA 02339
