Obituary

Troy William Chauppetta, 30, of Bridgewater, passed away peacefully holding his mother's hand on December 31, 2025. Troy was a loving son, step son, brother, and uncle. Father to Bella his four-legged mini bernadoodle.

Born in Stoughton on June 9, 1995. Troy was born first and then came his brother Andrew. Troy a graduate of Southeastern Regional Vo-tech with a degree in design visual communications.

Troy was a determined, independent young man. He lived with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, which he never once let define him. Troy, along with his twin brother Andrew, and his best friend Mark all lived together for the last five years. Troy didn't work a 9-5 job, but he worked daily to live independently managing everything along with his brother and roommate. They handled the food shopping, bills, caring for a dog, soccer team duties, helping their dad, and many more. Troy even drove a van with a joystick cruising the streets without a care in the world with his brother Andrew.

Troy was a skilled and talented editor, helping many people build websites and develop content. He also had a podcast called "Twin Talk" with his brother and roommate. Troy was most proud of helping others, he was an ambassador for the Jett Foundation. He was always there to give advice or just to smile to a little child who may be curious about his wheelchair.

Troy’s great passion was wheelchair soccer and the bond he had with many teammates over the years specifically his twin Andrew, Mark, Owen, Logan, Will, Dylan and coaches Rob, Don Virgil, and Andrew Grant. Troy and his twin also played for the Team USA which was such an accomplishment and dream fulfilled.

He was the loving son to Mark W. Chauppetta of Carver and Isabel Timas of Brockton. The step-son to Janice Chauppetta and Jiar Timas. Beloved brother to his twin, Andrew and baby brother, Maxwell. Survived by his big sister, Elizabeth Rivera and her husband is Philippe Rivera. Big brother to Jaala and Aava Timas. Troy was also loved by his step brothers Alex and Albert Burbank and their wives Kylie and Constance Burbank. Troy adored his nieces Emelyn and Elliotte and was so excited to be an uncle again this summer.

The amount of messages we have received shows how many lives Troy and his brother have touched, many who never even met them but followed on social media. Troy and his brother have made such an amazing impact and have been an inspiration to so many I can’t even count. Troy did what it takes a lifetime to accomplish, squeezed into 30 years.

Troy is now running in heaven with two sets of grandparents, his friend Cory and many others we lost from our soccer family. Troy has now taken over heaven using with his larger life personality because that’s just who he was. Troy you will be missed and we love you ❤️
