Obituary

Vera (Boklaga) Chepron, 82, died July 12th at her home, after a period of failing health. She was the wife of Rodney W. Chepren.

Born and raised in Bridgewater a graduate of Bridgewater High, also Brockton Business School, she was the daughter of the late Ignat and Anna (Marmish) Boklaga

She was a resident of Whitman for 61 years.

Vera worked as a confidential secretary for the MCI Bridgewater for 20 years, retiring in 1978.

She enjoyed crafts and gardening around the family home.


She is survived by her husband, Rodney W. Chepren, her son and daughter Wayne Chepren , and Cindy Andrews ;a special niece Margarita "Rita" Marmish, as well as several others. She was also the sister of the late William Boklaga and Alice Holmes.
Her funeral service will be on Monday July 16th at 10:30 A.M., in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street, (Route 58 at the Rotary Circle) Whitman. Burial will follow in the Colebrook Cemetery, Whitman. Visiting hours omitted by request.
